My Cruises: Cruise Tracker and Countdowns

Countdowns are one of the most popular features of CruisePicker, but until today there was no way to 'save' multiple countdowns. With the new My Cruises feature you can save multiple upcoming cruises, as well as your past cruises, all in one place, My Cruises.

If you don't already have the Cruise Picker app, download it here.

My Cruises serves as your personal cruise journal. For each upcoming or past cruise, you can create custom backgrounds and messages.

Adding a Cruise to the Tracker

1. Open the CruisePicker app and tap on the "My Cruises" tab at the middle bottom of your screen
2. Tap the "+" button in the top right corner
3. Fill in your cruise details:
   • Cruise line and Ship name
   • Sailing date
   • Text (optional)
   • Background Image or Color
4. Tap "Finish" to add your cruise to your list

Once added, you'll see your cruise in the "Upcoming" section with an automatic countdown displaying the days remaining until your cruise vacation begins!

If your sail date is in the past, your cruise will be displayed in the Past Cruises section. Instead of a countdown, you will see the date you sailed.

Customizing Backgrounds and Text

Make your cruise vacation countdown truly personal by adding custom backgrounds and messages!

1. From your list of cruises, tap on the cruise you want to edit
2. Tap "Edit" in the top right
3. Choose from three customization options:
   • Edit Background: Select from our gallery of cruise-themed images or choose a solid color
   • Edit Date: Change your sail date. Your countdown automatically updates
   • Edit Text: Add a personal message like "Anniversary Cruise!" or "First Time to Alaska!" You can add emojis too:)
   • Edit Line and Ship: Change the cruise line or ship
4. Preview your countdown to see how it will look
5. Tap "Save" in the upper right when you're happy with your design. Note, if you tap 'Back', changes are not saved.

Your personalized cruise countdown will now appear whenever you view this cruise in your list.

Removing a Cruise from Your Collection

If you need to remove a cruise from your cruise tracker list, we've made it quick and easy:

1. In your cruise list, simply swipe left on the cruise you want to remove
2. Tap the "Delete" button that appears

The cruise will be immediately removed from your list.

Share Your Cruise

Make your friends and family jealous by sharing your cruise!

• From your list of cruises, tap the cruise you want to share
• Tap the 'Share' button and choose from popular platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp or iMessage. You will see a preview.
• Add a custom message (optional)

How do I track multiple upcoming cruises?

Add each cruise separately by tapping the 'plus' button. Each will display with its own countdown showing days remaining until departure.

Will my cruise countdown update automatically?

Absolutely. Once you add your cruise, the countdown updates automatically every day until your departure date.

Is there a limit to how many cruises I can save?

No, you can track as many upcoming and past cruises as you like, creating a complete record of all your cruise adventures.

What happens when an upcoming cruise date passes?

It automatically moves to your past cruises list.

When I customize the countdown in the app does it also update the countdown home screen widget?

No. The countdown widgets are customized separately and not in the app. Follow the countdown widget guide.
